Facebook May Roll Out Auto-Playing Video Ads Soon

Just a day after the PR disaster regarding Instagram’s new terms of service that caused a backlash among users, it has surfaced that Facebook may be introducing video ads in its News Feeds soon.

According to “several industry executives”, the social media site would soon allow advertisers to insert video ads into users’ timelines—the length of such videos would supposedly be capped at 15 seconds.

These ads may also start playing automatically, a move that would potentially annoy users further—it seems like Facebook is having real difficulties juggling the interests of its users and investors.
