To welcome Darth Vader and the ‘Star Wars’ franchise to the Disney family, Disney Parks posted a light-hearted video that follows Vader and two Stormtroopers guards around Disneyland.

The video titled ‘Darth Vader: What Are You Going to Do Next’ shows them enjoying various rides, the snacks and other fun-filled activities happening around the park.

We wonder why he didn’t take his kids, Luke and Leia, with him instead.

Gory Human Hearts You Can Eat

London-based baker lily vanilli makes red velvet sponge cakes, filled with red-blood cocoa and raspberry blackcurrant, in the shape of gory anatomically-realistic hearts.

‘Bleeding Hearts’ is fit for Halloween, or as a literal ‘heartfelt’ Valentine’s Day gift, or as a gift to an ex for him/her to literally eat his/her heart out.

Hilarious Posters To Celebrate ‘Birth Control Day’

To celebrate ‘Birth Control Day’ on 13 November 2012, Sir Richard’s Condom Company and ad agency TDA Boulder have created a series of hilarious posters to remind lovers of the benefits of ‘wrapping up’ before sex.

With tongue-firmly-in-cheek, these posters feature humorously vulgar sentences—such as “Let’s change positions, not diapers”, “I’m afraid our baby would turn out like you” and “Thanks for always getting your period”.

A Dancer’s Beautiful Dream-Like Self-Portraits

Combine a dancer’s grace with a photographer’s discerning eye, and what you get are these enchantingly surreal pictures.

Dancer-turned-photographer Ingrid Endel started shooting self-portraits after a knee injury that ended her dance career prematurely.

Given her history as a dancer, it was only a matter of time before she started experimenting with the inclusion of dance elements in her photographs.

The result is a collection of stunning images—featuring mystical characters like fairies and magical butterflies—that seems to have come straight out of a fantastical dream.

If you like her work, you may want to vote for her at the Art Takes Miami competition.

A City Built Under A Rock

The people of Setenil de las Bodegas, Spain live under a rock—we mean this literally, and not in the sense that they are especially ignorant.

Part of the Spanish city is built under an enormous rock, giving the appearance that it has been squeezed into the crevice between the rock and the ground.

Located along a narrow river gorge over the Rio Trejo, some houses in the city are built right into the rock walls by enlarging existing natural caves.

While it may not look like the most comfortable place to live, the city’s population of 3,000 inhabitants seem to be getting along just fine.

‘Color Sensing’ Pen Reproduces Any Color That It Detects

Designer Jinsun Park has developed a concept pen that is able to scan and reproduce any color that it detects.

Called the ‘Color Picker’, it is a pen with a built-in color sensor and RGB ink cartridges.

By simply scanning a color sample with the sensor, the pen is able to detect the color and mix the required inks to reproduce the target color.

According to Enpundit, the Color Picker will allow artists and designers to be “more connected to their surroundings and inspired by the changing colors in nature when creating drawings and renderings”.

US-based digital artist Alex Mitchell—who previously reimagined The Avengers as Japanese warriors—is back, this time he reimagined the X-Men as samurai warriors from the Edo Period in Japanese history.

Beast as Komainu. Previously a handsome and gifted physician, a disease left him badly disfigured.

Gambit is Chouhan, the young prince of the bakuto (gamblers). His specialties include gambling, thievery, and gunpowder grenades.

Rouge as Onryou, a vengeful spirit whose very touch saps the strength of the living and allows their memories to intermingle with her own.

Storm becomes Kaminchu, a deity who is able to control the weather and wields a tessen (steel war fan) with great skill.

Professor X is reimagined as Master Zenjirou. He previously was a master swordsman, who is now able to utilize his own ‘ki’ (inner energy) to defeat opponents without a single physical blow. He is also able to read an enemy’s intentions through the flow of their energy.

Jean Grey or Miko is a shrine maiden who is able to summon and command invisible shikigami (spirits). Inhabited in her body is an immortal bird spirit that even she herself is unable to control.

Cyclops, ‘Dokugan’ (One-eyed) is able to see spirits and other supernatural beings that normal human eyes cannot. He is also able to cast nightmarish visions on his enemies with his missing eye.

Wolverine as Mujina, a highly skilled warrior with superhuman fighting skills and razor sharp instincts. He wields two cursed swords: the Toratsume (Tiger’s Claw) that drinks the blood of its enemies and heals its master; and the Ryuutsume (Dragon’s Claw), an unbreakable weapon that shatters any other blade.

Jubilee is Hanabi. She specializes in creating fireworks.

Mystique as Akko, a cunning fox spirit and a master of disguise who uses her power to transform into whoever and whatever that satisfies her fancy.

Sabretooth or Byakko carries a cursed nodachi called Kemonokiba (Beast Fang) that keeps him immortal as long as he keeps it fed with human blood. He and Mujina were formally best friends.

Apocalypse as Doguu, a thing that has existed since the ancient past. Its body is made of baked clay and destruction often follows in its wake.

Magneto reimagned as Jishaku.
