Creative agency Neo-Pangea has made official what is already happening in offices all around the world—the abuse of the lowly intern.
Taking a fun spin at the life of the intern, the agency created the “Intern Abuser”, a micro-site that allows web users to physically and mentally abuse their intern via Facebook.
Using online controls, “players” would try to hit specific targets with plastic darts that would trigger silly traps to torment the poor intern—nearly 20 thousands viewers from 67 countries tuned in to the event and fired 5,500 darts in only 20 hours.
Despite the seemingly sadistic nature of the project, it is actually for a good cause—to raise funds for the intern’s collage loans.
