Moscow-based software engineer Alexey Papulovskiy has.
Papulovskiy spent a month gathering flight data on Plane Finder before mapping the data in Contrailz.
Using red for lower altitude flights and blue for higher, the map produces some very beautiful patterns of different flight paths across the world. It also allows us to visualize the “roads”, “highways”, “intersections” and “junctions” used by airplanes.
