Los Angeles-based artist Cayetano Ferrer’s street art is the very opposite of the loud, highly visible work one usually associates with street art.
Instead, Ferrer’s work blends in perfectly with the environment, to the point of almost being ‘invisible’.
In his series ‘City of Chicago’ and ‘Western Imports’, Ferrer photographs the environment, before printing them on stickers and sticking them onto street signs and boxes, giving them an illusion of transparency and camouflaging them from view.
