In collaboration with the Springbrook Nature Centre, photographer Paul Nelson has captured a stunning photo series of birds in flight.
Titled Aviary, the photos capture birds just as they are released back into the wild by the Springbrook Nature Centre.
Springbrook captures the birds in order gather data about them and place tracking bands around their feet.
Nelson uses a specially built photo booth with a sensor that triggers the camera when the birds fly away, giving him only one chance to shoot each bird.
