Canadian photographer Jeff Friesen has created an adorable photo series that depicts the imaginary lives of plastic toy animals.
Starting out as a personal project to produce some fun animal prints for his daughter’s room, these pictures became so popular with friends and family that he soon started selling them online.
The tiny toy subjects are photographed in miniature human homes, while engaged in human activities like watching television and taking a bath—a number of the pictures even include toy versions of iconic designer furniture.
Each print also comes with a silly but fun caption that describes the life of each toy animal—the bright and cheerful wallpapers featured in these images are one of our favorite parts of the series.
