‘The Invisible Cities’ is a series of surreal and imaginative oil paintings by Polish artist Marcin Kolpanowicz that are a wonderful mix of fantasy and reality.
His paintings feature bustling towns and cities rising out of the most unexpected places such as clouds, trains, tornadoes, and the wings of airplanes and birds.
The evocative pieces are rendered in soft dusky tones of yellow, brown and gold, lending them a hazy and romantic feel.
Viewing them, one is immediately transported to a faraway world full of adventure and exciting possibilities.
