The login page for Gmail has been redesigned, with the login form shifted to the center of the screen. The login box is also slightly larger.
The new login page is visible to most users in New York, Utah and Ohio, but not all internet users have been able to see it. The new interface shows up intermittently in some states in the US, depending on the browser used.
Google responded to Mashable with this statement: “In response to feedback from our users, we’ve simplified the sign-in process, and the screen has slowly been rolling out over the past few months.”
The changes point toward a standardization between Google’s desktop and mobile interfaces.
