Designer Audra Hubbell projects giant letters onto buildings in Chicago for her ‘Letters at Large’ project which explores typography in an urban setting.
While most projection art uses words or phrases, Hubbell projects individual letters against backgrounds that accentuate and add an interesting dimension to them, while highlighting the architecture of the city.
Hubbell explains it is about “exploring the interaction between projected large scale letterforms and the urban Chicago surroundings.”
