In China, There Is A Street That Plagiarizes Logos From Famous Brands

The Shimao Skyscraper building in China’s Jiangsu province sports plagiarized logos on the first floor of its exterior.

Many of these fake logos take on the look of famous brands, but passers-by would realize that they are fake as they wander up close.

Some examples include a logo that resembles that of Starbucks’, but reads as “SFFCCCKS Coffee”, while Hugo Boss has been misspelled as “Hugo Bgss”.

These copied logos were supposed to attract investors, but many have complained that they are “misleading” and have infringed on copyright laws.

What do you think—aren’t there more better ways to attract people to come to this district?
