Watching the Times Square ball drop on New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest New Year’s celebrations in the world and it’s probably on many people’s bucket list.
To let you experience (or relive) the moment from Times Square—sans the one million spectators in attendance—The Timelapse Group has created an incredible time-lapse of the spectacle.
Produced from over 18,000 still frames, the video was shot over the course of 12 hours, from two hotel rooftop locations.
Watch as the streets fill with people, the sky darkens, and the magical moment when it strikes midnight.
