Austrian artist Klemens Torggler has created the ‘Evolution Door’, an elegant origami door that opens and closes like a piece of paper with a single touch.
Dubbed a “flip panel door” by Torggler, it is made up of 4 panels that fold in on themselves. Though it is more of a kinetic structure than a proper door, it is an interesting interpretation of how a door should look and function.
Torggler has been experimenting with similar doors for years, and this is the latest of his creations.
