Artist’s Hyper-Realistic Paintings Juxtapose Viewer With Iconic Artworks

The End Of The World

Marc Dennis’ latest exhibition entitled ‘An Artist, A Curator And A Rabbi Walk Into A Bar’ is a series of hyper-realistic paintings that includes the viewer as part of the narrative.

The paintings, which feature some of the art world’s most recognizable and provocative artworks, are seen from a new perspective as the actual viewer views someone in the painting viewing them.

In ‘The Necessity of Judgement’, a cheerleader dressed provocatively is juxtaposed with a painting of abstract nude female forms.
