Those of you who have been to Tokyo in the summer know that it can get extremely humid this time of the year.
The solution is to indulge in a relaxing bath at a sentÅ, or bath house, and emerge feeling refreshed and ready to face the world again.
To make it easier for you to locate one, Japanese smartphone app maker AtoZ Lab has created ‘Bathhouse Map Tokyo’, an iOS app that maps out bath houses in the city.
The app lets you search the nearest bath house or a particular location, and lists its business hours, admission fee and holiday schedule, although it’s only in Japanese for now.
There is also a fun element to the app—you can collect stamps when you check in to a bath house, and compete with other users to become the “world champion” at bathing.
Download ‘Bathhouse Map Tokyo’ for free from iTunes. Would you use this app when you’re in Tokyo?
