If you are a designer, chances are you have been approached—probably more than once—to produce design work for free, in exchange for “exposure”.
Brooklyn-based designer Dan Cassaro recently received an email that invites him to submit an artwork for free to be displayed at an large event held at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
His reply is a funny and sarcastic one that cleverly highlights why it is wrong that money-making events such as this are asking designers for free work.
