With the release of Apple’s iPhone 6 last Friday, many would be scrambling to get their hands on the new device.
However, the long snaking queues are made up of more than just die-hard Apple fans or the usual technology geeks.
Filmmaker Casey Neistat made a six-minute-long video revealing that a substantial number of these individuals are actually opportunists selling the brand new handsets after queuing for days.
Titled ‘Black Market Takes Over the iPhone 6 Lines’, Neistat said it was “disheartening” to witness the whole experience and that it wouldn’t reflect well on Apple.
Business Insider also wrote that this would cast new light on Apple’s opening weekend sales figures.
