#098 — He was looking busy
We’ve featured 365 day projects where creatives challenge themselves to create a new piece of work daily, but few come as stylish as Paris-based art director Constantin Mashinsky’s series ‘365 Parisiens’.
His stunning black-and-white portraits of the French city’s inhabitants showcase the many unique and diverse individuals that make up its lifeblood.
Aside from featuring characters we have come to expect, like the dapper gentleman and the somber intellectual dressed in black, Mashinsky captures other faces of this adored and often romanticized city, like tattooed youths and quirkily-dressed strangers.
Framed against the cobblestone alleys, shop windows and busy street scenes, the beautiful monochrome images exude a magical, timeless quality.
Check out some photographs below and follow the series here.
