To mark International Peace Day on September 21st, Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai created a new campaign for the non-governmental organization (NGO), Peace One Day with the message, ‘Shoot Goals, Not Guns’.
This fun campaign reminded Chinese people of the organization’s message of peace and goodwill through a lighthearted approach and a special analogy.
A longer than usual, custom-made foosball table with the world’s leaders as football ‘players’ was placed in areas of high foot traffic. This reminded people of the inherent purpose of the world’s leader’s: to come together to achieve goals, not create more wars.
