Adobe’s ‘Shape CC’ App Turns Your Smartphone Photos Into Vectors

Designers rejoice, for Adobe has unveiled its new ‘Shape CC’ app that lets you create Illustrator-ready vectors from your smartphone photographs.

Developed for iPhone and iPad, it turns shapes and forms from high contrast objects into vectors that you can use in Illustrator or other mobile apps.

Simply snap a picture or choose one from your camera roll, and the program will display a preview. You can edit the image with adjustment sliders, convert the file into a vector, and sync it to the Design Library in your Creative Cloud profile.

The ‘Shape CC’ app is part of Adobe’s major update to its Creative Cloud suite.
