We have previously featured a desktop-sized robot from Japan that can transform into a car.
Now, meet its cooler cousin, the ‘J-deite Quarter’. It is a fully functional, five-feet tall prototype of a robot that can transform into a three-feet-long mini sports car.
Created by Kenji Ishida from Japan-based company Brave Robotics, Wataru Yoshizaki from Asratec Corp, and Tomy, the company that produced the original Transformers, the J-deite Quarter can morph into a mini two-seater sports car that has a maximum speed of six miles per hour.
As it name suggests, the the J-deite Quarter is a one-quarter scale replica of a future full-scale model that the team is working on called ‘King J-deite’, which is expected to be released by 2020.
