This Toshiba Billboard Might Be Slightly Offensive To Asian People





Created to promote Japanese brand Toshiba and its products in Croatia, this billboard ad by advertising agency Senor might actually be offensive to Asian people.



Using two slanted tablets, the billboard seems to be poking fun at the stereotypical ‘Asian eyes’.



“Toshiba is the only Japanese tablet brand currently present on Croatian market,” wrote the agency. “Why not remind people of this fact and evoke all the positive emotions Croatians have about top Japanese technology.”
