On 25 October 2014, California-based cat rescue and adoption organization Cat Town will open a permanent cat café that provides a space for people to enjoy food and play with the animals.
Called ‘Cat Town Café’, the shop will be hosting rescue cats that are all up for adoption. Cat enthusiasts can have food and drinks in a separate room before going into the “cat zone” to play with the felines.
Patrons will be allowed an hour inside the “cat zone” when they make a purchase from the café or if they make a donation of US$10.
