Blog-publishing platform Medium has grown to become a leading storytelling tool for both professionals and aspiring writers since its start in 2012.
Canadian photographer Darren Hull recently spent a day in its office this past summer, and came away with a collection of photographs of its inspiring interior.
Located in a striking ivory building in San Francisco’s Financial District, the office boasts a spacious layout with open concept workspaces, meeting rooms where employees gather to brainstorm ideas, and cozy couches lined along the walls.
Exposed ceiling pipes and a minimal color scheme comprising mostly white and gray lend it a spare, industrial feel, while wooden beams and accents add a warm touch to the space.
The decor is understated and tasteful with no flashy distractions, making for a quiet and conducive environment.
Amenities include a library, a bar, a bike rack, lockers, and a ping pong table where employees can pit their skills against each other during work breaks.
