Following the shocking terror attack in Paris on Wednesday, in which 12 individuals from satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo were killed, a popular ‘Banksy’ Instagram account has offered its tribute to the incident.
The Instagram account has close to a million followers, but is not verified if it indeed belongs to the famous street artist.
Nevertheless, the powerful homage has gone viral. The image, captioned “RIP”, features three pencils—an intact pencil accompanied by the word “yesterday”, followed by a broken pencil that signifies “today”, and “tomorrow” is represented by the original pencil, alongside one that is resharpened.
