Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original creators of the Macintosh, recently posted a short clip recorded in 1983—which was intentionally recorded for a TV commercial for Apple, but was never used.

The video, entitled ‘Original Macintosh Design Team Interview Snippets’, features interviews of the members of the original Macintosh design team Burrell Smith, George Crow, Bill Atkinson, Mike Murray and Hertzfeld.

In the film, the designers highly-praise the Mac, with statements such as: “I can't really describe it in words, but if I can get you to sit in front of it, and play with it, you won’t let go of it.”

The video was used only for Apple’s sales conferences.
