MINI is attempting to set another world record—this time the British car brand is attempting the ‘world’s first unassisted backflip’.
Using a modified MINI Countryman, French stuntman Guerlain Chicherit will be attempting to backflip the car off a ramp.
While many drivers have successfully ‘kickflipped’ off specialized ramps, nobody has ever successfully attempted a backflip.
According to Chicherit, the stunt required 18 months of preparation and testing.
In the video below, MINI teases the first half of the video—without the landing.
