Why Newspapers Can Still Hold Readers’ Attention

The marketing platform for all Belgian newspaper publishers, Newspaperswork, wanted to show the power of newspapers in an amusing way.



Together with creative agency Duval Guillaume Modem, Newspaperswork offered three major advertisers a free ride to work in a chauffeured car, so that the advertisers had time to read the newspapers.



While in the private car, the agency tried to distract them—but no matter how hard they tried, they could not grab their attention away from the newspapers.



In turn, proving that print advertising still is relevant in this digital age.
