“Welcome to Sword & Pillow. The food is inside…”
To highlight the current tired trend of naming restaurants with “hipster” names, brewmaster Garrett Oliver has created a funny series of photographs that literally translates the names of these eateries in real life.
Oliver cheekily illustrated fake hipster restaurant names like ‘Hand & Fork’ and ‘Hawthorne & Cleaver’ with real objects and cutlery, making us ponder upon the current obsession of using pretentious names in the food and beverage industry.
