As part of the project “Architecture for Dogs”, Japanese firm Torafu Architects have designed a clever piece of flat-pack furniture for your canine best friend.
Noticing how “the Jack Russell Terrier is the happiest and the most comfortable on its master’s clothes”, the team came up with the Wanmock, a wooden frame that allows the user to turn an old t-shirt into a comfortable hammock for his or her dog.
The Wanmock is designed so that the fabric would envelop the dog’s body, putting it at ease with the scent of its owner—it is made with smaller dogs in mind, which are 10-15 inches tall at the shoulder and weigh 14-18 lbs.
You can purchase the Wanmock here for US$235—do you think your dog would like its very own hammock?
