Indonesian artist Elicia Edijanto has a penchant for creating beautiful black-and-white watercolor paintings that feature quiet scenes of children interacting with wild animals.
Her minimalist approach, evident in her use of silhouettes, and her clever juxtaposition of small human figures with the larger, presumably dangerous animals seem to suggest a magical, intimate relationship between the two subjects.
