Is Apple Testing The iPhone 6?

In a report by Matt Brian from The Next Web, it was revealed that Apple is already testing the iPhone 6 and its next operating system, the iOS 7.

According to Brian, he reported, “One developer showed us that Apple has been testing hardware relating to a new ‘iPhone6,1’ identifier, powered by a device running iOS 7, which is expected to be released by Apple in the middle part of this year.”

The current iPhone 5 is marked on the developer logs as ‘iPhone 5,1’ and ‘iPhone 5,2’ and he has reason to believe that Apple is testing the new hardware.

“Although OS and device data can be faked, the unique IP footprint leading back to Apple’s Cupertino campus leads us to believe this is not one those attempts,” Brian wrote.

“No specifics on hardware or software features are shared in developer logs, but sources have indicated that Apple began working on the new version of iOS 7 towards the end of 2012 and is soon to finalize the features that will be included in its first public release.”

If Apple is truly testing the new iPhone 6, we wonder if it will look something like this.

The New York Public Library Gets A Facelift

[Click here to view the video in this article]

London-based architectural firm Foster + Partners has recently unveiled new design plans for the New York Public Library that aims to preserve the 101-year-old historic building while creating more public library space.

By moving out-dated book stacks to a modern storage facility beneath Bryant Park, a dynamic circulating library could be integrated into the building and the public would have access to 66% more space in the building.

Even as visitors would be able to enjoy a permeable and accessible library, the spectacular masterpieces in the building—such as the Rose Reading Room and Astor Hall—would remain as they are.

The building would remain open throughout the five years of construction from 2013 to 2018—for more information on this amazing project, visit the Foster + Partners website.

‘Gangnam Style’ Vodka?!

Psy’s “Gangnam Style” has taken the world by storm—which led Russian company Woobo International to file a trademark for a Gangnam Style vodka drink in the US and Russia.

According to the Huffington Post, the company registered the trademark with the US Patent & Trademark Office on 26 September under three categories: action figures, vegetable-based snack foods and alcoholic beverages.

Although Psy’s record label, YG Entertainment, had already filed trademark for the phrase in both Russia and the US, they failed to include beverages into the list of applicable categories.

Woobo International is currently waiting for Psy’s approval before producing the ‘Gangnam Style’-flavored vodka.

Would you like a sip of some ‘Gangnam-Style’?

Web Game Puts Your Eyes To A Color Test

Interactive designers Maria Munuera and Mark Mckay have developed a web game that puts your eyes to a color test.

Simply called ‘Color’, players are required to match exact colors from a color wheel.

The levels start easily with hues and saturation, but the difficulty level rises to more challenging analogous and triadic colors.
