App Turns Your Screen Into A Retro Monitor

North American creative studio Secret Geometry has developed a new text editor—“Blinky”—that will turn your computer screen into a retro monitor.

Featuring 3D effects like curvature, reflection, scan-lines,

flicker and burn-in, users will also have access to various classic fonts.

It will be just like using a computer circa 1982, only better—Blinky is capable of generating “text art” from photographs or video and users will have the option of saving screen shots as well.

If you are feeling nostalgic and would like to relive the good old days of computing, download it here for US$4.99.
