Brazilian artist Paulo Goldstein chose to use spare rib bones bought from eBay at US$10 to repair a broken iPod.
In his series ‘Repair Is Beautiful’, Goldstein has a collection of once-broken objects that have been fixed in the most mechanically ornate ways possible.
“It was interesting to combine such a primitive “technology” with an “almost disposable” one, clashing different worlds,” shared Goldstein—who is also famous for his figure works on films like ‘Frankenweenie’.
Goldstein has also repaired other objects like a chair and headphones; his project stems from an obsession with building intricate, often small objects.
