Industrial designer Dean Brown’s quirky ‘Reservoir Rugs’ take inspiration from the graceful flow of water—the rugs drape downwards, ‘spilling’ from wall-mounted containers and forming a ‘pool’ on the floor.
The designer was inspired by “the depth and subtlety of the textile production”, and his carpet features beautiful rugs in shades of blue ombré cascading to the ground in a rippled ‘pool’.
The design is a collaboration between Italy's Fabrica Design Department and Hong Kong's Tai Ping, and was exhibited during Paris Designers Days 2013.
