Lastest NASA script Logo
The Virgin logo is one of the most recognized logos in the world today, with its bold red signature that represents the company’s “sophisticated yet playful, glamorous yet cheeky, stylish yet flirty” attitude.
While its latest logo is a crisp signature that uses the NASA script—a typeface with clear lines that are easy to read—the logo is vastly different from its first design, created by English illustrator Roger Dean, for Virgin Records.
The iconic signature is said to be scribbled by a young designer on a paper napkin, which Virgin founder Richard Branson loved “for its ‘in your face’ simplicity, attitude and energy”.
The logo has since underwent a series of redesigns to adapt to the times, and to reflect the ever-changing world we live in.
