Do you remember how the web looked like in the early 1990s?
An infographic designed by the team at WhoIsHostingThis? compiles the various design trends that were once commonly found on the web, including the debatable Comic Sans font, hit counters, and scrolling text.
Surprisingly, not all of these trends have been dropped—for instance, animated GIFs, which were popular in the 1990s, are still being used today, but in new ways, such as in email marketing for major brands.
