Created by Amsterdam-based artist Raymond Lemstra, this series of illustrated portraits looks simple, but is actually quite intriguing.
The new series is titled ‘Crumbs’ and they showcase Lemstra’s linework, which produces illustrated portraits of creatures with almost emoji-like faces.
Lemstra’s art is known to show his interest in distortion that result from selective emphasis. He also has a distinct personal style that has been described as naive and sophisticated at the same time.
