Have you ever walked along the street and suddenly saw a gaping crater in the middle of the road, or a 3D object floating in the air, only to realise that it’s an optical illusion made by paint against a flat surface?



Website io9 has compiled a series of videos showing how these large optical illusions are made and the artists at work.
