Russian photographer Sergey Semenov stitched together panorama pictures he took during a helicopter ride in New York City.
As a result, he created a composite shot of New York’s Central Park and its surrounding buildings—which won him the Mahor Amateur Award in the 2012 Epson International Photographic Pano Awards.
Semenov works on a small non-commercial team called AirPano, that travels the globe to create these aerial panoramas, usually stitched from images shot from helicopters.
