Fashiontech designer AnoukWipprecht and engineer Daniel Schatzmar have made a dress that draws a dark elegance.
Called the ‘Spiderdress’, the idea of was inspired by the indie game ‘LIMBO’.
According to the duo, it was “a prototype of a mechanic dress equipped with sensors indicators and controllers, created with the aim to give more power and 'psychological thrills' to the sugar sweet character that performative wearables often have.”
The spiderdress is microcontroller based with “reacting//attacking upon approach”.
