Amsterdam-based Barber Shaves & Trims’ latest ad campaign features pictures of wild animals that at first glance seem more like promotional material for National Geographic than a personal grooming business.
However, upon closer scrutiny, one will find that each animal is wearing a distinguished moustache that suits it so well that nothing seems out of place.
Accompanied by the tagline “Tame The Beast”, this ad by Dutch agency 180 neatly brings across the message that one’s facial hair style is an important aspect of one’s identity.
The blatant appeal to the viewer’s rugged, masculine side and clever touch of humor in the ads should have men thinking about taming the wild and hairy animal in them.
