NASA: Universe Is 100 Million Years Older Than Previously Thought

NASA has released new findings indicating that the Universe is approximately 13.82 billion years old.

This figure stands at 100 million years more than NASA's previous estimate.

The information was gathered by the Planck space mission, a European Space Agency mission.

It evaluated a detailed map that charted the oldest light in the universe, which reveals new information about the light's age, origins and contents.
