Fancy a drink to quench your thirst while in a taxi?
New Orleans Carriage Cab has launched a fleet of taxis that have in-built soft drink vending machines.
For just US$0.99, passengers can get themselves a cold non-alcoholic beverage—such as Coke, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, Sprite, iced and orange Fanta—by ordering through a touchscreen display and swiping their credit or debit card.
When ordered and paid, the can drink would be dispensed from the cab’s fridge that’s able to hold up to 36 cans.
The taxi vending machines might roll out in cabs in New York and Chicago in the future.
Just be careful not to spill!
