Sewing Kit Teaches Hand-Sewing Techniques And About Endangered Animals

Mirim Seo, a recent MFA graduate from the Tyler School of Art has created ‘S.E.W.’ (Saving Endangered Wildlife), a well crafted and adorable kit for learning hand-sewing techniques.

Meant for children, the ‘S.E.W.’ consists of an instruction book, threads, buttons, needles and eight animal pieces with stitch holes. By completing patterns on the animal pieces, children will be able to learn sewing techniques and about endangered species in the rainforests.

Said Seo, “All my works are eco-friendly and very minimal because I am trying to create sustainable design that is not harmful to our environment which is why I love animals.”
