Designed by Andreu Carulla, the aptly named ‘Oxymoron II’ is designed to make ‘hot’ ice-creams.
The Oxymoron II is an improvement from the Oxymoron I, and is made of stainless steel and bamboo plywood.
The machine cooks a brioche with ice-cream in it, making sure that the piece of pastry becomes warm while the ice-cream in it remains cold.
Made specially for the restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca, which is part of the Rocambolesc group, the machine and ice-creams are also stamped with their trademark “R”.
