Missouri-based photographer Lynn Terry has a series of adorable photo booth images that captures the friendships between various rescued dogs.
In one photo, ‘Bumper’ can be seen giving ‘Willis’ an affectionate lick on the cheek. Both dogs are pit bulls and they had difficult early lives.
According to Huffington Post, Bumper came from a “not-so great area of St. Louis” and was rescued by local pit bull rescue organization Mutts n Stuff, while Willis’ mother was rescued from the “largest pit bull fighting bust in US history”.
Terry particularly enjoys working with pit bulls because of her “personal affinity for the breed”. She said, “They are the underdog and I want to do what I can to change public opinion about the breed.”
She added that they also “make some of the best faces”, as you can see from some of the images featured.
The images below were taken during Valentine’s Day earlier this month.
