Meet five-year-old Hannah. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer earlier this year and has undergone six months of chemotherapy, during which, she had her left kidney and part of right kidney removed.
Despite going through the strenuous treatments, Hannah remained positively upbeat. Wanting to share her story to other children battling cancer, the plucky lass created the following PSA.
According to Hannah, she hopes to appear on TV and newspapers so others can see “how brave” she’s been while battling the disease.
“Throughout her ordeal, she has always been very matter a fact about the entire situation,” wrote the video’s description. “She understands what’s going on and knows what's needed to fix it. She approached us one day and said she wanted to do a ‘commercial’ to explain to other kids what they can expect when going through cancer and show them ‘how brave’ she has been. #teamhannah”
And for those who are still fighting cancer, she has the following message: “…don’t worry, ‘cause I am brave, and you can be brave also.”
