Singaporean mother Li Ming does all she can to make her sons appreciate food by creating wonderful character bentos, or charabens.
She first started making these charabens when she found that her food artworks and an accompanying comforting note would help her eldest son, Ivan, adapt to school quickly—seeing what his mother did for his elder brother, Lucas requested the same to bring to his kindergarten too.
The family has turned this into a hobby, having created more than 100 of these lovely charaben, with the two boys actively participating and throwing in new ideas.
