Russian architect Vasily Klyukin has designed and developed a plan to construct “the most pleasant hospital in the world,” called the ‘White Sails Hospital & Spa’.
The building would take form in the shape of a giant yacht with four sail-shaped towers on a raised platform, surrounded by pools that makes it look as if it is sailing on the sea.
According to the architect, the idea behind this structure “is to build a clinic, where people will feel the calmness and peacefulness, rather than experience the fear while visiting”. He also aims to make visitors feel more like guests on a cruise than patients during their stay. Even the staff will be dressed in marine uniforms to fit the theme.
